Help, Trunk Locked!
The lock actuator for my trunk has failed. I can hear it locking, and it tries to unlock, but can't do it. I took my car to the local independent Audi mechanic, and they could not open it. My car has a ski sack, thus allowing limited access to the trunk. Does anyone know of a way to unlock the trunk short of drilling out the lock cylinder? I would appreciate any advice on this.

Re: Help, Trunk Locked!
what about using the key?
try pulling up on the trunk lid while someone presses the unlock botton..
the trunk stops on my 93 fell apart and made the lid sit lower so when the unlock botton was pressed it would just lock again.

Button in glove box does not work. Key does not work. I don't have a small child available. However, I can make a reach rod of some sort. Where do I put it?
