Mike Audi A4

Sometimes my car won't turn over in the ignition ? It seems to happen when the steering wheel locks in place . I cannot get it to turn over at all and tonight. The key went backwards and spun around and around . Then went forward but would not start the car ? Then I had a heck of a time getting the key back out only to start the process over again . Car wouldn't turn over in the ignition again . This happened once before and somehow started again and has been OK for a few months and now. We are back to square one again . Will not turn over ?? Please HELP !!!
