Hi,

the video gives you a step by step tutorial how to remove and how to reinstall the intake manifold of your Audi V6 engine with 2.6 engine.

Part of the manifold is made of plastic and the plastic parts inside break. This courses a noise rather similar to an engine damage. The video shows the repair of the manifold without the repair kit, which isn't available anymore.

When the manifold is removed, there is access to further parts which should be replaced in time. The knock sensors are patches and the oil valves in the oil chamber are replaced.

Jurgen..brilliant work. We did not get the 2.6 here in the USA and our intake manifolds were the vario style. Looks like Audi could have done better with the plastic.

thanks for the links, I'll try the next time. The problem is, that a lot of companies label parts "In stock" but they don't have them really, They order it just in time smethere else. When you order such a part and the real deliverer fails, you hear nothing from your order or you get after a week a mail. Then you try the next shop, the same ... After some shops I decided to glue all together. Used parts make no sense here, the plastic is also in bad condition.
