the quattro torsen uses synthetic gear oil. Like 80-90 or 75-90 or what evers close, its really not picky. It doesnt even hold a quart. Just keep the car level and pump it in till it runs out.

Okey thanks, i noticed to late that it was out of oil in this part so it failed hard making the car almost not move forward. Luckely i had another gearbox so i just changed the torsen at the rear, and it worked, not i didnt change the big metal can thingy that seems to be the connection from the acutal gearbox part with the torsen part, should i have done that to?
The car runs fine, only thing i notice is that when i accelerate the car vibrates a bit at the low revs for some reason, i have double checked the bolts and all, im thinking if it has something to do with the big metal can inside the gearbox? if it got damaged some how when the torsen ran out of oil?

The vibrating is going to be related to the drive line, like the center bearing. Did you make sure to bolt the bearing back in the exact same spot. The 2 13mm that hold the center bearing up are adjustable, odd loads on the bearing can cause vibration.
