Re: Wheel bearing tools

I really just want enough tools to remove my wheel bearings, and future Audi's wheel bearings.

Re: Well............

Your gonna need most that are pictured.

Audi wheel bearings are better "pressed" in & out of their housings. So you should get a hydraulic press. Then your gonna need a couple special tools to aid the press with the bearings.

I've always found the old bearing to be a remakably good fit

Usually a bit of ingenuity will cope with almost any repair. How many self employed mechanics go around with a load of special tools just for the one occasion the get asked to do the one they do not have the tool for?

I think you may find it possible with an ordinary vice and a drift or some kind, as Duncan says, old bearings are a great fit.
