84 Audi gt coupe parts availability
I have the option of getting my hands on an 84 coupe (fwd) project car. Haven’t owned a mid 80’s audi in a decade and a half. Last I recall parts were getting hard to come by. Is this still an issue? How bad has it gotten? Are there any major parts that are just about impossible to find?

I honestly can't think of anything that you can't either find new or find a rebuilt kit for. There's so much crossover with VW parts that it's not too bad. AutohausAZ or even Amazon will have most parts. Heck, even my Audi Fox I can find parts for, and there's maybe 50 of them left that haven't rusted into the ground yet (mine's getting there though). I haven't checked on the windshield in awhile, that would be the only thing. But there's always a way. There's always someone with a parts car somewhere.
