Default 85 4000 S running very lean

Folks, this is the same Audi that had the fuel line problems, we are now over that. The car now runs but misses on cylinders 1 and 5, an O2 sensor was used to measure A/F ratio and it is about 18:1, when propane is fed into the manifold all smooths out. Thought are that the throttle body/fuel distributor are the cause. Trying to remove is presenting problems as things are rusty/seized and we don't want to destroy things. Mechanic knows where to get them rebuilt but not if mangled, a good replacement unit would be ideal but trying to find one is not easy, still looking.

Folks, all good now, replaced with a very good fuel distributor/pressure regulator and all is normal. Kudos go out to John Behe at RPR Motorsports in Brooklyn, Md, John is a great mechanic and tuner, he has his own dyno and is well respected in PCA racing as the man who can get your car to make power reliably. He is just off US95 and a few miles from the Baltimore Cruise terminal.
