'85 CGT front subframe rear bushings
I am getting conflicting answers about whether I'm supposed to remove the sleeves for the rear two bushings on my subframe. Clearly, the bushings (poly and aluminum) that fit most small chassis (at least b2, b3, b4) do not fit in the rear wholes with the sleeves still installed.
I have been told by some folks to remove the sleeves and standard bushings will fit fine. I have been told by other folks that I don't want to do that because the bushings will fit too loose then. Instead, I should machine aluminum bushings or shave poly with a knife.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
