air intake hose
 

we recently pulled apart the engine (to fix a broken exhaust manifold stud) and found many issues with my 1984 Audi coupe gt with the 2.1L. on issue we ran into is the air intake hose was trashed, it had a mouse nest in it and was falling apart. we have been trying to find something that would work however its a tight 90 degree turn with 2 1/4 diameter and couldn't find anything that would work locally i was wondering if anyone has had this issue and knows something we can use or where we can find one.https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.aud...1b732c8f6d.jpg

That looks like either the tube for the dumb flap that never works that's supposed to suck hot air off the exhaust manifold or the one for the "cold air pipe." In either case it does very little and I've seen very few cars with that stuff still in place. If you really want to replace it I would use silicone tubing. Unless you're going for a Concours resto, in which case you may have some luck with the Audi Tradition site.
