Any advice on how to get rid of H2O in the fuel lines?

I apparently had some H2O/sludge down in bottom of fuel tank>
and since I really really use all my fuel up before I fill up again, I must have sucked some up into the lines/filters, and fuel dist. Now the car won't start at all. This is on my '86 quat.
I guess that I'll need to r/r both filters, and from there I don't really know what to do. Do I need to take the fuel lines apart & drain? What about the fuel dist?
Any ideas?

How about.. Jumper the fuel pump relay to flush lines?
How about..
Jumper the fuel pump relay, and let it run for a while (with some fuel in the tank), and that will circulate everything around back to the tank, back down the return line.
Or..
Undo the fuel line feed to the fuel distributor, and be ready with a gas can.
Jumper the fuel pump, and see what comes out into your offered up gas can. It may purge your fuel lines and filters of any water. Then once that is clear, try above?
Good trick to empty your tank too. Way easier than syphoning. (IF the car is already ripped apart already and you want to empty the tank, you can get to the fuel pump leads by thenmselves under the back seat to power the pump.)
Remember though, that it's supposed to be bad for the pump to be running dry, so be careful when the tank is almost empty..

OK, clarification needed, please>>>
When you say, "Jumper the fuel pump relay, and let it run for a while (with some fuel in the tank)," you're meaning let the fuel pump run, not the engine, right??? I can't get the engine started the way it is now.
Have you actually done this before?

let gravity drain the fuel tank...
Assuming you're working on the 4kq, you should be able to remove the fuel like from the input side of the pump and let gravity drain the tank. You should also have a pre-pump gas filter there which would need to be changed. After a good tank flush then I'd run one can of "dry gas" per 10 gallons gas to clean out the lines.

Exactly!
The fuel system doesn't need to know that the motor isn't running. So by jumpering the fuel pump at the relay locaton, the pump will run as long as you have battery.
If you get the pump going (without the motor running) you can easily drain the tank (by opening the fuel line up under the hood, and catching the fuel in a gas can or something.. (easier than messing under the tank at teh back of the car).
