Default Cheater Turbo on 10V?

I know itís old school but has anyone ever attempt one on a coupe with satisfactory results? IMO itís just too tight in front for big turbo, plus Iíve never been a fan of intake/exhaust manifold on same side of engine. Really missing my daily boost fix since my boosted Ď71 BMW 2002 Roundie grenaded.

What Iím cooking up in my head is;

1) One long braided oil supply for turbo at rear muffler location.

2) I have one gear pump designed for low mounted turbos to remedy the return to oil pan.

3) If I use KE Jet, change out airflow meter and fuel distributor with one out of a V8 500SL Mercedes solving
extra fuel and air issues. Tap additional 3 injectors into intake manifold.

4) Change exhaust to 2 1/2Ē to back, intercooler piping 2 1/2Ē from turbo back to front of car intercooler.

5) Twin fuel pump upgrade with one triggered by boost signal.

6) Rising rate fuel pressure regulator.

7) Bore out throttle body.

I have everything on hand except for the 2.5Ē stainless exhaust pipe and Blueshield 9 shielding gas for the stainless welding.

Going for the gold on the rear mount turbo as soon as the T3 90į elbow with v band flange arrives this coming week. Think I may not need to use an intercooler since it’s so far away from intake.

I know remote turbos are pretty popular with V8s due to limited room around the engine. I have no problem with them and it'll be cool to see the setup. Probably easier to fabricate the parts but you have to run long lengths of everything, so pros and cons.

The missing link arrived. Didn’t realize it had both T3 and T4 option when I purchased it.

probably dive in this weekend.

No updates, chose not to mount in rear due to not being able to get turbo oil return line high enough comfortably.

I am however going to use the same flange under the hood after I pull the dead AC compressor out to make room for the turbocharger.
