She RUNS!!!11!11..... and STOPS!!!!
Well we took the old girl out for a spin tonight. They aren't kidding when they say the JT has a bit of torque to it. Its really not THAT slow. The car ran without too much problem, cold starts result in a immediate stall, I have to clean the ISV and check for vacuum leaks. No other CIS glitches thankfully.
Brakes work great, clutch pedal is pretty good. The only driving issue was the clunky shifter. Finding 5th can be tough at times and its really notching getting into gear. I'm amazed at how the car handles the highway, it can do 80-85mph all day it seems. Unlike some other 20yo cars I've driven, this one doesn't shake at high speeds!

My 4kq of course. :P
After 9 months of sitting, I was surprised how well the car handled it. Why can't Audi build cars like this anymore? I'm sure if it was a B5 or newer it would have lit the check engine light in 3 seconds backed by about 10 fault codes or so.

great feeling, huh?
Yeah, I was really impressed with how torquey the JT motor was. For only hvaing 115 hp, I swear it had more spunk than my '98 jetta w/ the lil 4 banger in it.
Glad to see she's up and running though!
