Default Clutch Pole.......

I was just wondering how many miles people have been getting out of there clutches. I have a 85cgt that the first owner said got 150,000 on the first clutch and had a vw quantum syncro that had well over a 100,000 hard miles on it and it was great till the day it went to the junkyard...rally accident in a field..oppsJ........finally does any one make a Kevlar pucked disk for these beast?

Most CGT's go 100,000 to 150,000 at least on the original clutch. Easy to see that they are a bit over-engineered. This is why I would ask why on earth you'd want a puck type clutch? They are nasty to drive with. The stock clutch is more than adequate for even modified cars.
