Dilema
After closer inspection, I found where my coolant leak is coming from, the water pump.
To recap, I noticed a whiteish green residue on one of the spark plugs, my neighbor (mechanic)mentioned yeah I "think" the head gasket is blown.
Dilema: Should I just change the water pump, or continue to remove the cylinder head?
Symptom of the engine, ran hot and leaked coolant. It's obviously now, where the leak originated.
What should I do?????

If you have not undone the head bolts yet, then just do the pump..
If you have not undone the head bolts yet, then I'd just change the pump. No neeed to disturb the head gasket if you don't have to!
And of course, install a new tensioner bearing and timing belt while you are in there, unless you know when they were last changed.

Did you ever pressure test the system to see that the head gasket is good?
It doesn't make sense that you have an issue with a plug and you found the leak at the pump.... You could have an issue with both.
