To all the great information here and all those who contribute to it...

I've been combing through as much information here as I can but I still could use some outside perspective-
I have an 86 CGT. Was running OK after purchasing it, I was following information I found here to get it running great. PO did some hack fixes I've had to correct.
My problem- It stopped running suddenly the other day. Went to start and got a backfire into the intake. Did a little trouble shooting and found the rotor cracked and dislodged. Replaced it, now it will crank and fire but then die out no matter how much throttle i give it. It seems the cold start injector is firing and the engine is lighting but then nothing. I've pulled the injectors to test- good spray pattern/flow. Jumped the fuel pump relay and tried starting with it on, no dice. Manually activating the injectors works, or at least gets the injectors to fire.. what am I missing? The vac advance on my distributor needs to be replaced, the clip on my hall sensor is broken, I was thinking of just getting a whole new dizzy. I'm at a loss as to what else to check.. I'd appreciate some ideas..
Thank you

It's gotta be the distributor. On these if you sneeze too close to the hall sensor it won't work at all. I personally spent years trying to track down an intermittent die/no-start problem and finally figured out it was a bad hall sensor causing everything from no spark to no fuel pump. I'll bet that'll sort out your problems.
