My 83 CGT horn has large NUTS. High Horn 810951223. Not like urq horn.

Number doesn't work for autohausaz. This # is on the horn and a 1987 bill (last time I replaced it) match - 810...

URQ horns have a smaller nut holding them to the bracket.

I'm wondering if I'll have to convert, along with horn brakets with the smaller holes.

The # works for '80-'84 4k, '78-'83 5k & '80-'83 5kt. '83 CGT is - 171951223

It's also cheaper than 810951223 since it's used on many VW's also

Yes ETKA says 171951223. Anyone know if it has the big NUT.

I got bogged down because my urq also takes 171951223 according to ETKA yet it's 'small nut' . The urq horn actually has a 321 951 223 number. I don't take the urq as seriously because P.O. could have done anything.
