My Girlfriend supports an engine swap!
Though she may be misinformed, her reasoning is: "Well the engine is already 25 years old so it probably won't last much longer" The same engine with just over 160k which has never had problems.
But if she won't give me flak for swapping in a "New" engine....

I'm thinking the MC2 i found today at a local pick-and-pull...
Its all there (it's actually the same engine my brother owned) and has good compression. they want 650 but I bet I could get it down to 500, since I've got a bunch of the other bits

Well motor and its bits...if no harness though no more than 350
Its not that unknown, Its been in the family, and Audi's arent common here. at all. So no one else has touched it basically.
