Just a word of advice, you may want to stick to one thread per subject to get the best response in a timely manner. I was just as excited as you are about two years ago when I got my 87 CGT. However it can be hard for guys to follow your requests and questions when they are spread across 20 different threads.

You won't be able to swap just the hubs on the rear, you'll have to get the whole stub axle assembly. If you don't have a junkyard then you'll have to piece it together. You can get the stub axles and bearings from AuotohausAZ (not sure about what international shipping would be like though). Just pretend you have a 1988 Golf GTI. That would leave the hubs to find. I'd just re-drill the rotors if it were me, since you already know the brakes fit the car.

The fronts are going to possibly be harder, since you'll need to find an early car like what we call the Audi Fox (B1) so it'll have the correct size bearings to press into the strut assembly (68mm rather than 66mm) AND 4x100.

I don't know, man... If you're committed to using 4x100 wheels it would be easier to find the correct 4x108 replacement hubs for the back and then just run adapters.

Oh, also like I mentioned in another thread, the FWD 4000 stayed 4x100 through its run. Not sure if you got a lot of those where you live, but that would be another car to get parts from for the front (they had rear drums), since they use the same 68mm bearings. I would also verify what drive axle spline size you have, as there were a few different variations. I believe the Special Build CGT got the larger ones like you'd find on the 5000, so there's another potential wrench to throw in the mix, if an SB is what you indeed have, or if someone used the parts from an SB.

just re drill your current hubs to 4x100. It's been done a million times. Problem solved. Next...
