Default Need pics of front sway bar on a 4kq!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need to know which way the little dip in the middle goes. Does it dip up or down? The pics I've found show down, but I think when I took it off it was up?!?!

HELP!!!!

Not the best pic but it shows most of it. It dips down in the middle. The endlinks point straight up from the controll arm and bend forward as they meet the swaybar. Putting a quattro bar on your coupe?

Default What are those brackets hanging underneath the swaybar for?

I have them on my car, too, and I haven't been able to figure out what they're for.

I think they were put there to secure it on the long boat ride it had when it was imported. That's all I can figure.

Default Thanks. Nope, overhauling the 4kq's bushings up front (control arm & sway bar end links).

Do you have any pics of the end link positioning?
Where does the bend happen? I want to make sure I have those in right side up also.

Did you get me e-mail regarding intrest for engine?

Default Interesting. My '85 didn't have them,

They're pictured in ETKA, but I can't find a P/N for them. I was hoping that they were for the factory skidplate(which I have).

My 85 has them. Big Sam's 86 has them with what looks to be some sort of alternative factory tow hook attached to one. I will snap a pic and put it up. Still waiting to finish off this roll with my carlisle pics on it, and my counter is broke. Hmm kinda like my odo, wonder if it also has a gear that slipped out.
