Hi, I have just purchased a 1985 coupe gt5s 2.0 5 cylinder with a 5 speed gearbox, I'm in the process of restoring it as it has suffered from quite a lot of corrosion to sills and rear arches, I have searched everywhere for replacement sills and arches but had no success. I bought the car as I've always loved the UR quattro, especially rally quattros, I am hoping to convert my gt5s into a rally spec Quattro look a like.

I know that its never going to be as good but I am not bothered about the 4 wheel drive, 2 wheel drive will do for me, I just don't have the money for a real Quattro. Has anyone ever found replacement sills or arches? Or know anything that will fit? My friend works in a metal works and he is going to make me some replacement sills but he can't make the arches. Has anyone got a nearside gearbox mount as mine has snapped?

Also I am thinking about taking the 2.0 5 cylinder engine out and rebuilding it and was wondering if anyone knows if the turbo manifold from a 2.2 Quattro will fit, to make my engine a 2.0 turbo engine? plus a engine rebore, they look like similar engines, sorry about all the questions, there's not a lot of info out there for these Audi coupes
