hey all..
i happened to bust a spring on my 85 4ks this past week and i have been trying to find a new set with no luck.
does anyone know where i can find a cheep set or what the spring rate and dimensions of one is in case i have to search out aftermarket springs?( if need be i will cut them)

You could always put a 'wanted' ad for stock springs on Audifans Marketplace..
Lots of people look for parts there..

do the coupe and the 4000s springs match? like are the a fit right in thing?

i live in Nova Scotia Canada ( postal code: b4e 1s9).. what options are available to you for shipping. and how much do the springs weigh?

I have a set of aftermarket(I think Eibach) in storage if you are interested.
I will let them go for cheap. Send me a note if you are interested. I will look at the spring rate tonight.

I'd estimate about 15 lbs with packaging.
The cost of shipping from Connecticut to Canada is shocking & the delay is considerable. If you can locate some up there you'd be better off.
