is there any way to check the cam timing without undoing everything?

Default check in bently where that dot is soposed to line up to?

It should be set to line up to something, I remember this when changing the timing belt on the 5k.

Default Re: dot.....yeah, it is kind of vague in the Bentley where to line it up.

I line mine up with the top side of the valve cover gasket.

Default i think thats where its supposed to go..

i lined mine up with the top of the head sans gaske.. 1 tooth off?...

Default That would be one tooth off. But..make sure the crank is TDC...
