check in bently where that dot is soposed to line up to?

It should be set to line up to something, I remember this when changing the timing belt on the 5k.

Re: dot.....yeah, it is kind of vague in the Bentley where to line it up.

I line mine up with the top side of the valve cover gasket.

i think thats where its supposed to go..

i lined mine up with the top of the head sans gaske.. 1 tooth off?...

That would be one tooth off. But..make sure the crank is TDC...
