Hi,
can some body please walk me through changing the thermostat step by step.

It's not too bad of a job. If you want to do it right you'll drain the coolant first. If it has the green coolant it's a good time to change it to something better, such as G-05, which you can get at most parts stores (thought I'd flush it first if you're switching, just to get all the old gunk out.)

Anyway, then it's pretty easy to get to. It's just in the housing that the upper radiator hose connects to on the engine. It's only two bolts if I remember right. Make sure you note the orientation of the thermostat so you don't put the new one in backwards or anything.

That's about it, really.
