So I went ahead and ordered those 17x8s and they do fit. It is tight and I am running 205/40r17 tires anything bigger and it would hit the tire rod end. No rubbing at all. As a side note b&g does still make spring for this car but they haven't shown up yet

Car looks good on those Tarmacs! I have B&G springs on bilstien HDs on my FWD 4000 the rear sits a bit lower than the front. Performance wise the car feels well balanced but just a heads up for when you get them. Don't be surprised.

Id say it's fairly accurate, possibly a little more... I think your 17's will be snug but they should fit. I'm running 15's with 195/50r tires but I'm going to try and squeeze some 205/60's on in the next few days. Here's a mediocre pic for reference

Beautiful car! I see what you mean about the rear sitting a little lower but the only other option is 2b coilovers and that's not in my budget. You swap any sway bars on your 4k?

no sways yet, I have 034 track density sway bushings and strut mounts, huge difference, way stiffer I like the bumpy race car feel. I plan on getting a rear sway (I forget the company that makes it) and a 2B front upper strut bar. Also considering a four point at some point. The B&G's handle well on the bilstiens though. I might experiment with a front strut mount in the back to level them out.
