Default 100 (5000) NF (NA) 2.3 1987 Sudden stall - no spark

My very reliable Audi 100 Avant died while starting.
Had just been on the daily commute - when starting ? an hour later, the engine started and ran for 2-3 seconds - then died.
No spark - everything else seems to work.
Fuelpump running,
Coil measured, 0 ohms across terminals
3,5 Kohms across high voltage and - terminal on coil,
Hall sender measured, 0 volts open, 11.5 volts closed -
and gas is present.
7 pin ignition module measured - 12 volts on pin 4 and 6
I only once managed to get a spark from center coil wire when turning on ignition.
My digital meter does not fluctuate when measuring on coil low voltage terminals while cranking.
What part should I exchange or measure on.....
I am out of ideas - anyone experienced with this....
This is a non lambda model, but with Hella motorcontrol (my Haines does not cover this)- can't figure out how to activate codes (the fuse trick does not activate check engine light)

We have 160% taxes on our cars here - any car running reliably saves you money everyday compared to a new car - and this Audi runs like on rails. Just about to pass 400.000 kilometers - I put 60.000 km on it every year.
Former cars: Volvo 850GLT, Rover Van Den Plas V8, Granada V6 - but road/owner taxes forces me to buy a smaller car every time
Audi a very positive surprise.
Thank you for a great forum and the people here - best source for any Audi owner.
Best wishes

Default I had the hot wire from the coil to distributor burn out on an '87 and acted like that.

Check ECU ground wire.

Hall sensor might be bad.

Are you sure that the timing belt hasn't broken.

Default Still no spark - where are the flywheel sensors....

You scared me there - broken timing belt : )
It is ok - the cam is turning.
Hall sensor in distributor ok - but I can't locate the 2 other sensors - they are supposed to be somewhere around the flywheel.
ECU located in front boot well - bolted to A post - should be grounded well.
Measured out the Hot wire from coil - 1.8 kOhms
Still no spark - any other faults to look for....

Best wishes
Bo

Default The crank position sensors on the flywheel are only on the

Turbo engines. The hall effect sensor in the distributor is used instead in the N/A engines.

Is this an Auto? if so may be the interlock switch for Neutral / Park is out of adjustment.
