Hi All,

I'm preparing to dive into my '90 200 10v to catch up on maintenance and some repairs. First, I have an exhaust leak that I've isolated by sound to be near the front of the exhaust manifold, goes away when warm. I've found two used manifolds, both cracked (one welded in three places and re-cracked on two of the welds). My question: does welding a stock manifold make sense or is it a big waste of time, knuckle skin and money? Seems they crack again from my research and the repaired one I've seen. Any other known fixes?
Also, while in there, I am replacing engine mounts (ref cracked mani above), injectors, rocker cover gasket, plugs, wires, vacuum lines and anything else I see on my way in. Is there anything that the collective wisdom here would tell me to plan on or to do as a matter of course in addition while I'm this far in? I'm hoping to be as prepared with parts etc as possible and not be down for any longer than necessary.

After this, I plan to go after the cold solder issues in the instrument panel. Or get it to someone for repair. And then, my headlight switch that sometimes activates the high beams and other times results in no lights at all. And after that, the steering rack. I'm in the Denver area if anyone has advice, or parts - like a good manifold or cold beverage and support to offer.

Any advice or help with prep is much appreciated. 1990 200 TQA 10v, 270k miles, no tailpipe smoke or oil burning, still running strong and faithful.
