This engine has troubled me for months now. It started early this summer with a misfire now and then, and around the middle of July the car started to misfire so badly it's virtually undriveable.

All spark plugs are white as snow, and I can only press the accelerator in like 20-25% before the car starts to misfire.

I've replaced every (all new parts) sensor, all hoses, the coil, ignition leads, new spark plugs, fuel injector, Bosch 040 fuel pump, done a pressure test, tested fuel output from the pump and checked pressures in the CIS, everything within spec, taken out the tuning chip and put the original chip back in, checked the fuel distributor for a sticking plunger, checked for fault codes...

...and all this to no avail.

Any thoughts as to what my problem could be?
