Any one on here have a hvac wiring schematic or a diagram for where the harness goes? I am trying to locate a short in the harness. i have no power to the unit, the unit however does work i managed to temporarily splice into the harness to supply power. I later found blower motor was off balanced and extremely noisy. Not long after the blower burnt up and ceased to work. I pulled the blower box replaced the motor and heater core.the core wasn't in much better shape. i do have some manuals for the vehicle but with out the call out reference numbers for the schematic i have there is no real way to determine much else. i know what wire is supposed to supply power to the hvac unit and used a light test and dvom to test no power showed. i really do not feel comfortable splicing the hvac back in off another wire in the harness to have heat. If anyone has anything that would help id greatly appreciate it.

I posted to check your private messages but that post hasn't gone thru, so doing it again....I can hook you up with the wiring book if you haven't already found it. The last few pages of your shop manual show where all the Kostal/big connectors are in the car and apparently theres one labeled 17 up in passenger footwell(above fuse box? looks like in pic) that's the A/C harness one(green tape from engine harness to black tape to A/C)....In all these years it's always a connector/bad ground/bad something....I've yet to have to run a new wire for anything unless it was added/upgraded. Once you got power, that new fan and core will be enjoyable(just did that on the 5-speed) and now that it's winter, really loving it....Good Luck, Tom
