This car I am looking at tomorrow owner states 25 easily on the highway (Avant). I have never gotten that good of results from my 20V sedan of which the computer will never seem to go above 22.5 on a long trip at 75-80MPH. What do you get? Could I need a new O2 sensor or have some other issues or is this normal.

before I chipped, rebuilt the head and new turbo... I was looking at about 20ish...
My best was a 200 mile trip from Keene, NH to Glens Falls, NY that was a 31.0 MPG... this was right after I changed the 02 sensor.
02 sensor definitely makes a serious difference when its old.
City driving I see maybe 17 highway usually 22-25.
Currently I have about 15 mpg average on my 5 mile drives to and from school... but things aren't quite right yet fuel / air wise.

27 highway..21-22 avg
if I reset the computer while on the highway I get 27 after 20 min of regular, not easy, driving at 70-80 mph in ny&nj... not a perfectly flat landscape and no cruise.
instantaneous readings can go to 30ish on flat stretches.
as soon as I hit the city driving, mileage drops drastically.
