Default 20v turbo bypass valve okay to use on 10v?

My neglect reversal project on my 1990 200 10v QTA is nearly completed and the old girl is almost whole again. I have a question regarding the turbo bypass valve. My car had been upgraded to a 20v intercooler years ago. Wiith this upgrade, the 10v hose from the turbo to the airbox pipe had the bypass valve from the 10v grafted to it and installed. That hose and valve stub glue had failed by now, so I have modified a 20v hose to work in its place, and kept the 20v bypass valve on it. Is there any problem using this 20v bypass valve on the 10v engine? I have it plumbed as is shown on the sjm website and I'm ready to install the front end and go, but just want to make sure by asking about this valve first. The old 10v valve is not usable, as its bung is covered with old hardened glue of some type and will not insert into the hose nipple. As always, any advice and info is appreciated.
