coolant in the nr4 cylinder
i changed my plugs today and i noticed that
there was coolant in one of the cylinders.
there is no water in the oil and the car runs good (not perfect.
no smoke coming from the exhaust
exept if i stop it when its warm and starts it after 10 - 30 min.
(warm motor + sitting for a little while = BIIIG cloud of smoke)
i have a susision that it happend after the
heater core walve broke, resulting in a 180degees celius oil.
so here is the question.
- what is the most likely suspect?
a broken head gasket or a broken head...
the car is a 89 100q with a nf engine
(please exuse my english im norwagian)

Re: coolant in the nr4 cylinder
I would think from what you are saying that your cyd head gasket is blown .
If the smoke is white (?? ) then that is definitely coolant .
