getting there...
Finally figured out an age long occurance from the car. Went to a salvage yard yesterday in Charlotte, tried out 2 other ISV's and both worked worse then the one i had. So... a little frustrated.. I drove the hour back to my house thinking.... oxygen sensor??? disconnect it....
oh yea.. I should have told you the problem first
Car starts great everytime now (new fuel pump relay allows me to start in cold weather now)... but after the cars warmed up, the idle drops to 200 so that I need to keep a foot on gas when stopped....
so anyway, when i disconnect the o2 sensor, shes fine. Call the stores... 100 bux for a new one. Came on here, found a generic bosch sensor part number and called the stores... 40 bux and in stock. Installed it this morning. very simple! Wasnt stuck for a sensor thats been in a car for 120k miles. Had to remove the air filter to get easier access but took me about 30 minutes. Im about to make an hour trip to see how the gas mileage increases Everyone wish me luck!
now.... intermittant passanger side window (electric related), antenna mast, and rear window lockout switch is all thats left on the list for minor things.... and control arms and bushings for my major list.

Re: getting there...
On the two white wires, I was told that they are simply a heating element for the O2 sensor. Electrically, a heating element is just a wire with high resistance, which creates electrical 'friction', and therefore heat. I was told as well that those two wires (the white ones) can be switched. The black one of course MUST go to the O2 wire.
