Has anyone ever gotten the fuel injectors out without taking the intake manifold off??

Sure. Piece of cake. Never had to pull the IM just for injectors. Lever between the hex-nut top of the injector itself and the valve cover. Once you've moved it enough to break the o-ring free then it should slide out with simple hand power.

exactly like Type44_SCCA_Rally, just have a 12mm and 14mm wrench handy to pull the line once it's out.
Dunno about others but getting the fuel lines threaded back on the injectors was the biggest hassle.

You can buy the nifty little angled tool that pops 'em right out
I pulled mine with a box end wrench and some leverage, but the tool is a definite no brainer.

http://store.autotoolexpress.com/ass20p.html</a
