Lucas Power Steering Stop Leak

Lucas Power Steering Stop Leak
I've been doing a little research on Lucas's power steering stop leak stuff and still can't decided whether or not to use it in my car. According to Lucas I feel like trying it, but according to what some folks say about Audi's I feel like I shouldn't. I wonder if anyone out there has ever used it and wondered if anyone would be willing to join into my research.
Highlights:
-It contains no solvents(seal eating stuff)
-GUARANTEED to stop seal leaks in power steering units or your money back. Totally corrects rack and pinion problems
Finally, here is what Lucas has to say about it:
"Lucas Power Steering Stop Leak removes hard spots and stops seal leaks or your
money back! This formula is a blend of special oils and petroleum-extracted additives.
It contains no solvents. There are no harmful long-term effects. As a matter of fact, it
is an excellent preventative maintenance product for new units."
So tell me what you guys think. This could be a nice solution to all of Audi's Power Steering issues.
Thanks!

be careful
be careful that the petroleum solvents in the stop leak don't ruin the seals in your steering rack. If that happens, you will have to replace the steering rack. Or is it that your rack is already leaking, and you are trying to correct that? Suggest that you contact Audi or Lucas for answers.

Re: be careful
The rack is already bad...my only deliberatory point is that I don't want to ruin the steering pump or anything associated with the brakes...I contacted Lucas and I'm waiting on a reply.
Anybody have contact info for Audi?
Thanks.

Well, I'm giving it a try.
I put some of the stop leak into my Audi this evening and almost immediately the low brake flashing light started to go off and then on and then off....I think that's a good sign. It's been on permanently since I bought the car last week. I'm way low on fluid so I'm going to see if I can pick some up from Advance Auto tomorrow(of course I'm sure they won't have any in stock, but they can probably order it and then I don't have to pay the shipping)
The Lucas Power Steering Leak Stop is of the consistence of a syrup. I'm hoping it'll seal up my leaks without deteriorating the seals. Wish me luck!

Guys, any updates on this Lucas stuff???? Does it have any harmful effects??? Does it work? I'm in a dilemma whether to use it or not. Bar's Leaks claims that theirs is compatible with petroleum, mineral and synthetic oils...so will that be a better option???
