Default missing

I just restored a 1986 Audi 5000cd turbo, after picking it up, it is missing under low speed acceleration and the yellow check engine flickers. When you release the throttle, no issues, accelerate moderately it does not hesitate. Everything else work perfectly. I have replaced everything except the cap and wires which I have in my trunk, any ideas... it does not stall

over-boost is why the check engine light is coming on. check your waste-gate most likely the diaphragm is torn. BTW that is not an engine miss, it is because the ECU will send a fuel pump cutoff signal to the fuel pump relay at 1.5bar of boost with a stock ECU.

What kind of gas are you using ? My car has an ECU good for 1.9 bar, and one time when a fried put regular unleaded, I would get the check engine- detonation light on. So I added one gallon of toluene and the issue was solved

Apparently it was a grounding issue, no the car runs perfectly except for a rough idle. When I start the car, only let it run for a minute and shut it off, it now floods. If it drives a bit it is fine....lol..trying to get all the gremlins out of this car to make it brand new again
