Anyone ever put NOS in a 5000s? I cant stand pulling up to lights and having some dam ricer rev his engine at me. Im to slow off the start but takes off after 30mph need some extra umph!
If so what kind of kit did you use?

If you want power the right way your going to have to do a turbo swap or find a 5000TQ. There is much potential for a turbo car. A NA 5000 will never be a "quick car". beleive me I had one and I know how slow they are

you could try doing a cam and a header for your car. but with the fuel components as old as they are and things just not up to snuff, it wont perform to its fullest even then.

Don't worry about every ricer or equivalent euro or domestic idiot who revs you. Your Audi is an autobahn cruiser, not a stoplight racer. Just install a bitchin' stereo, and enjoy cruising in understated luxury and refinement with your GF.

I'd love to but i can't afford to. Id love a Turbo Quatro aswell but im stuck with a 5000s thats nickle and dimeing me to the poor house.

If this is the case, you'll do nothing but put yourself in a pit hole by boosting a 5kS Autobox w/nitrous.

Waste of money. You'll blow your tranny and shoot out your differential especially since you're talking about holeshots. My V8 auto tranny probably couldn't hold nitrous line-shots.

Save your money, and save up for a 5ktq if nitrous is a must...trust me...boosting your 5kS is a bad idea.

where in idaho are you? how close to bozeman, MT? i used to live there and can think of at least 4 TQ cars for very cheap. i can put you in touch with people. there are many enthusiasts in bozeman, helena, and missoula.

you can find TQ's for next to nothing, i just got another one for free. trade someone straight up for your easy running, always runs NA car.

don't waste your time with the NA engine....these turbo's motors are just too easy/cheap to get power out of!
