Hey Guys,
Just wanted to tell you Type44 guys you have earned some major respect from this B5 driver. =)
Some of you might remember me I drive a 2000 A4 1.8T...but my father still has a 1990 Audi 100 that he bought new from day 1..and that I kind of grew up with.
Anyways I ended up having to run some errands and I borrowed his car for the day.....for damn near 17 year old car, I'm still impressed with Audi's craftsmanship. Still after 150k miles (I know that's baby mileage compared to some of you guys) the car is still running strong. I was impressed with the N/A Inline-5 and can only imagine what you turbo Type44 guys must be having...either way I think it is a solid car 17 years later...and can only hope my A4 will be similar! =)
If anyone is going to be looking for another Type 44 in a few years, keep your eyes out! I plan on getting my dad a newer Audi as soon as I'm done with school. (Hopefully not a parts car!) =)
