Default radiator for 200 20v

Anyone got a line on a replacement for this car? tried a half dozen places/online stores and nobody has them. Audi has confirmed it's NLA oem. I guess one of the bad things about having a radiator last 22 years - nobody has a replacement

Suggestions? Are there alternate options?

Thanks!

Use the radiator from a 10v 5000tq 200tq 100q and delete the totally unnecessary aux. rad. I recommend a Behr autohausaz has them for a good price w/ free shipping. Don't forget new mounts and a new fan switch pn# 191959481C is the correct temp range switch.

Or, if you pull trailers uphill in hot weather or track your car a lot, you can take the Behr to a radiator shop and have the auxiliary taps added.

Thanks Yoda...autohaus is usually where I buy from. Already ordered all the misc parts from them. I haven't shipped the radiator back that was for the 10v. I wasn't sure it would be good to delete the aux. Guess I Don't have many options at this point anyway.

I've seen several posts re getting an oil cooler. Any thoughts/advice? Only one I found was at 2bennett and no way I'm putting that much $$$ into it.

Is there something wrong with your stock oil cooler? Do you track the car? Live in the desert? If no the stock cooler is perfectly fine.

No tracking or towing with the car...pretty much winter driver and occasional through the year. Just trying to research options since I'll have to dig in and replace the rad. The difficulty is searching all the old posts...you get so many different opinions on what is 'the best' thing to do.

If you do want to upgrade your oil cooler you'll have to piece everything together yourself adapters for the oil filter housing, lines, fittings, cooler, and custom shrouding. I'd try contacting Sam at 034 and see if they have any off the shelf options for you as that might be easier than trying to piece something together. You could also a find universal kit off ebay then all you would need is the adapters for the oil filter housing.

There are 5 cyl. audi specific kits on german ebay.

Thanks...I started to see that. I couldn't find any posts about a std. config or set of parts to build. Couple references to Mocal or Stebrad but seemed more work that needed. If there's no real benefit to upgrading the cooler (other than track) then I'll probably go the aux delete only route. I did find two cooler kits @ ECS but not any mention of these on the forums. 2bennett has one but as usual the most expensive out there.

Not sure it's worth sinking in another $500 in parts/labor for a bigger cooler anyway.

only other question would be radiator fan. Seen some people suggesting getting 7 blade fan...but that's just as pricey as the cooler LOL

gotta love the never ending battle with these cars

So what have you seen on german ebay? Ironically my buddy is there for 2 weeks right now and has friends who live there.
