Default Sources for Mods: Chips and WG spring etc.

I am looking to get a bit more boost and maybe get a chip (specifically for 5000ft and up altitude. Wastegate springs, and any other mods that wont cost me a whole bunch of cash for the parts? I do all the work myself of course. I am in a Non-Emissions testing state so no worries there.
suggestions

Default If you can do the work yourself then you can find the code on the web...

It is posted in a couple of places. Then remove the chip. Erase it for 20 minutes in a tanning bed and then program it with the QLCC code.

Ben Swann and SJMautotechnik (Scott) are good places to get the springs as well.

The code should automatically compensate for altitude. You won't make as much power up higher.

The code looks at the manifold pressure and then maps the timing to that along with the fuel after looking at the 02 sensor.

Default Austin thanks for the info, I'm about ready for a chip since you facilitated fixing my overboost....

and the car is running pretty good now. Would you suggest me changing hoses or can I get by with the stockers which seem to be in good shape?
Whadaya think?

Default Should be fine on the stock hoses for a while.

if you do decide to get the silicone hoses I'd go with 034's kit as has the throttle body hose which is not available from samco at least not in the US.
Oh and if you are looking for one of Ben's chip sets Ron's got one for sale;^)<ul><li><a href="http://www.034motorsport.com/product_info.php?cPath=28_63_73&amp;products_id=18 013">http://www.034motorsport.com/product_info.php?cPath=28_63_73&amp;products_id=18 013</a</li></ul>

Trying to find a chip for this ecu. I'm a do it yourself kind of guy. So I just need the chip. Any chance Ron still has something?
