V8 Injectors

Re: V8 Injectors
Perhaps,
I have an infrequent hot start problem and just replaced O2 sensor and Fuel Pressure regulator.
I am concerned that it may be due to the injectors.
Why do you have an extra set - did you choose not to replace on your dad's car?

Re: V8 Injectors
I don't think the person I bought the other engine from knew what they had to tell you the truth. I got many extra parts when i bought the engine. This set in particular was from the bad engine, although I had no problems with them. There was no reason to change the ones on the new engine and I'm a 'broke as a joke student' so i need the coin.

Re: V8 Injectors
Pull the DTC (Diagnostic trouble code). Hot start on the V8 is usually the crank position sensor. This sensor is located on the driver side near the bellhousing. It is located near the exhaust manifold which causes this sensor to fail. The sensor is mounted in a housing along with the speed sensor. The sensor sends a signal to the ECU to determine TDC and the sequence of firing the injectors. These cars does not have a cold start valve. The only hard part is disconnecting the wire from the harness.
