V8 quattro parts

V8 quattro parts
Hi there,
I've just bought a V8 quattro sedan (one of only 5 sold here during 1991) and as you can imagine, not many are being parted-out here.
Can anyone recommend a good parts salvage company in the US that have used V8q parts - and can cope with email orders from Australia?
I'm guessing lots more were sold in the US and there would be plenty of parts cars around. I don't need much now; just trim parts that I know will be really expensive (if even available) new.
Thanks, Phil

Re: V8 quattro parts
Thanks for that. Even though it may sound crazy to you guys, importing used parts from the US, where they seem relatively plentiful, is a whole lot cheaper and easier than getting parts out of Europe. Hopefully I won't need too many anyway.
Thanks again,
Phil.
Thanks again,

Re: V8 quattro parts
Like I said before, small stuff just for now. I'm looking for a right hand front door seal (it fits onto the door aperture, not the door itself), right-hand front inner guard plastic liner, a front centre armrest and if possible the hard plastic backing from a left front sports seat (I don't expect I'll find this easily as most will want to sell complete). Interior colour is black. Also want to replace auto gear lever **** with a leather covered type of similar shape from perhaps another, later Audi (and one that isn't shiny and worn).

Mail to Australia is difficult
I tried to send an Alfa Guilietta cockpit molding trim piece there once.
They have a very short length limitation, I think it was 41". A few other odd regs. The one I remember best is a refusal to accept any mail labelled ANZAC. (Australia-New Zeland Army Corp. If I remember my history) Seems to me they have an ANZAC Holiday.
In any case, the 11 ounce piece of stainless ended up going UPS for $110.00.
