Audi-3 points, ebuddy-5; overheat resolved!
Well, replaced radiator, thermoswitch, thermostat, leaky afterrun pump and tightened everything back up and the needle won't exceed 1/2 way up and no leaks! It seemed like everytime I addressed one thing, another would pop up, but finally-she's running right! Now for the sagging headliner, brake pad warning light (even though plenty of meat on pads and cable intact???) and I'm good to go for now at 141k miles! Thanx audiqv8 and others for your help on this bad boy-I was starting to become mighty flummaxed!
