*grumble*. 895-837-725-B is too short for my drivers side window on my CQ
 

ordered the part number out of the archives but its too short by about 1.5" on the portion thats supposed to attach to the bottom of the glass. If anybody happens to have their cable spool in pieces, could you measure the length of the two sides (fully unwound, off the spool)?

Driver's side? I have it but still in the door, though door is off the car....
 

I'll try and take a string to it and maybe figure out that way. Why didn't you use proper ETKA number - I take stuff from the archives with a grain of salt..

Definitely not installing it wrong, I spent 2 hours on it last night.

Hmmm....Maybe take a pass. side panel off and compare? I doubt they are different.

but it could be because the cables are reversed on the spool maybe? I did take the passenger door off which is when I realized something was wrong, it has reasonable slack allowing the cables to be installed whereas pulling with all my might still leaves me about 1.5" away from where the cable needs to go.
