Audi Cabriolet 4x108 aftermarket rims
Hi folks. I've been looking for a set of 4 aftermarket wheels/rims (17-18 preferably, my Audi already came with 16 OEM set) 4x108 which is really hard to find size. Anyone has any experience with buying them, or maybe someone has rims/wheels for sale, that fit my 1998 Audi Cabriolet, please let me know. Any advise is valuable. Thanks.

going to pick up a couple of focus svt. wheels today. The bolt pattern is the same have no idea if the offset will match or if the hub is the correct size. If they fit I will let you know it should make it easier to find wheels.

Focus SVT wheels have a 63.3mm hub.
Audi hubs are 57.1mm.
Finding hubcentric rings to fill the gap may be a bit difficult but not impossible.
Offset is 49mm, so within reason that they should fit.
Looks like they have conical lug seats, so you should get conical lugs to match.
Can see some info on them at Summit Racing:

Put the svt 17's on the car they fit the back, but with the tire on they hit the tie rod end in the front. When I tried they had a 225/5017. I tried the narrowest tire we had which was a 205/50r17 with not much better results. Mine is fronttrack not to sure how much different the struts are on a quattro. looks like the biggest I can go is a sixteen. will post pics if needed

I'll have to keep an eye on this.
I'm looking at 215/45R17 as it keeps the stock rolling diameter pretty spot on.
Might have to get spacers for the front if width is an issue. Consider stock is 38mm offset on the 15x7 Speedlines on my 1993 90cs Quattro Sport. A 10mm spacer in the front would bring that right in line. A 5mm in the back would probably even them out for how they sit in the wheel wells.

I see everyone is looking at 17"s and there's much more to choose from, I agree. But I'm still tinking that 18"s will look much better. The only concern is too low profile - 215/40. Unfortunately we don't have here in the US such quality roads as Germans have...
To "audiit": As about the fitment, this is not true that the biggest size you can use is 16"s. I think you were trying too big tire size, try 225/45/17 or the recommended one - 215/45/17
Check tirerack.com and you'll see the recommended rim sizes for your car.
Also here's very good calculator you can check what tire size is a closest to a standart one by overall diameter.

I tend to use the Miata.net tire tool for the tire size comparisons because I remember it.
http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
Anything over 17" and you start running out of usable sidewall for cushion on our crappy roads here in the Northeast USA.

Yes, spacer.

All sorts of places sell them, that's just one source there.
You put them in between the wheel and the hub/rotor and it adds width.
You have to be sure you get the correct length lug bolts or stud kit also.
