1995 90 quattro idle issue (stalling)
 

My 90 has been stalling out on me lately, when I come to every stop the rpm's come down but don't stop at 900 they go right down to nothing. Sometimes the car will run fine, but when this phenomenon starts it continues for a while, at every stop. Anybody have suggestions of what to check?

but if it was a vacuum leak wouldn't the issue happen all the time instead of sometimes?

There is no rhyme or reason...if a line is expanding/contracting when hot/cold...
 

...it might not do it all the time.

I assume there is no CEL?
