KEY STUCK IN IGNITION

KEY STUCK IN IGNITION
I am guessing that is caused by bad ignition switch. My mechanic had switch replaced twice back in 2004 along with lock cylinder. After few months key would have to be pushed back after starting so i just gave up on replacing this. Now key is getting stuck in ignition so i would have to start the car again and then i can pull it out.
I have replaced this switch in 2006 on my 200q and never had any problems since. Is there a difference between dealer switch and Meyle switch from Blauparts or Autohausaz ?I don't mind paying extra for dealer part if that would solve this problem.

assuming it was installed properly and that your car is automatic, you should check position on the cable in the back of the lock and the release on the auto shifter.
otherwise, I have a lock and brand new ignition switch to go with, that worked and will work for you. $120 USD shipped.
