95' : 90 Quattro Questions

Hello Everyone,

Long time lurker finally bought a 90 and decided to
So I have owned this wonderful daily driver for 7 months now, and I have this 12v quite happy.
I have 200k on the chassis, 60k on the 12v and 40k on trans. Visible "strong" rust in the rear wheel wells and passenger door weather-strip area.
I have taken this to my local Audi enthusiasts shop and asked for help getting the v6 running happy. $400 in sensors later it was making much more pep.
I feel like it needs some more power though,
should I put a cam in it?
Is it possible to turbo this motor? with custom plumbing?

Any suggestions to make this a better daily?

Thanks to you all!https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.aud...08ab12faf0.jpg

the 12v model engine doesnt really have many upgrades as far as common modifications. Anything is possible, but if you wanting that car with more horsepower i would suggest a 4.2L V8 Audi engine for performance. the 12 value model im sure was designed for reliability not power. The torque curve on the cars gear ratio make it nice to drive around town (you dont have to rev it out up hills) port and polish as well as regular maintenance is what i would suggest unless you have the bread for a v8 swap. Also look around for a euro style bumper you may like it seeing as yours is cracked. Having a 60k is very good for how old these cars are. check out 12v.org for helpful info if you havent already.

Of course it can be turbo fitted, but be prepared to fork out a lot of dough. Also be sure to employ technician who knows what he's doing.
I personally wouldn't mess around with the car, it puts down decent amount of torque and is nimble enough to outperform most American cars through tight corners.
