AFC tensioner on the AAH
Has anybody ever tried to put a AB tensioner on a AAH which the updated [now obsolete] Q is supposed to go?
They look exactly the same, only difference is a male 17mm hex to release tension vs a 10mm female hex port.
The correct belt is also 1860-1862 mm instead of 1905, not sure why since the route is the exact same for both engines with roller
delete and AC.
AB you can get OEM Litens for a good price vs Q which are Meyle or URO and they cost much more.

Hmm so nobody with the AAH has attempted to use the AB tensioner which is technically for the AFC [updated] but from what I can tell they are the same exact tensioner as the Q version, just 1/4 the price since Q seems to have been superceded.
Yes you can still get the Q from the dealer if you want to pay 4x the price.
1905mm belt length was the so called correct length but you can also go with 1860-1863 depending on if you use Conti elite or the original belt, the tensioner has enough slack to compensate for another 1 3/4 inch length.
