Default check engine light
after starting from cold for about 5-10 minutes the check engine light comes on. when i turn off the ignition and then restart it will be off, and i can drive it indefinately and the check engine light won't come on. after i restart it i noticed it idles a bit lower. is there any way to pull the engine codes (other than something like VAG-COM) to see what it is?

My new 93 came with jumper cables from the factory to pull codes. You need to make some.
