Default COIL-OVER SPRINGS: for those of you who have coil-overs, I have a proposition for you

Would you be interested in custom-wound 10" progressive rate springs made to your specifications?

Bottom line: my cousin owns a spring factory in Cologne, Germany.(they make everything from pen springs to springs for industrial applications)

If there's interest, I'll continue...

Why a 10" spring? I'd rather have a 12 or 14" spring on the CQ (haven't figured out which yet), as 10's required helpers to take up slack at full droop (ie when the car lifts up, under hard accel going over a bump/hump, BTDT in auto-x's).

Default I have to call him and discuss, but I wanted to have all the info before I did...

if there's enough interest here, the next question was going to be "who has the experience to draw up the specs?"

My discussion last summer with him (we were there for 3 weeks) was, "if I wanted something, could you do it"(planning ahead), and his response was: "you draw up the specs, and we'll make it". Then we talked about H&R for a bit (he deals with them occasionally)

What does "fab spring holders on the strut shaft usw" mean?

Default Depends on price...As of right now, several companies sell 2.5" springs of various free lengths and

rates for around $50 (each, I believe), plus shipping obviously.

I'm looking for a 300lb/in front rate, and a 400lb/in rear rate (it'll be touchier than it is now, but it'll plow lots less!).
